SYNOPSIS...

This mural was a private commission for a day care centre in Greta. It was a very big mural at about 45 ft across by almost 11 ft high, which makes it very difficult to photgraph, particularly with the sheds and childrens appauratus on the property. It only had to be an Austrlian bush scene with lots of animals for the children to be able to recognise. There was almost 20 animals added in by the time the mural was completed. The mural took several months to complete.

ABOUT...

Although the mural is effectively Greg's brainchild in concept, style and execution,the labour on this project was shared by Greg Slevin, Damien Slevin and their father Brendan Slevin. Long workhours and journey time and 40+ degree heat made this a particularly difficult project.
